Motivational Interviewing (MI)
This course is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of Motivational Interviewing (MI) and how to effectively apply its principles. Motivational Interviewing is a valuable approach for helping individuals recognize behaviors they wish to change. The process of change is structured around six key stages: precontemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, maintenance, and recurrence. In addition to these stages, you will learn various techniques associated with MI, which are tailored to address different challenges that may arise when working with individuals facing substance use issues.
